Nestled at the bottom of a hill outside of the town near Charles Fort, the site of the 1601 Battle of Kinsale, the Bulman looks right out over Kinsale harbor. The building, painted a cheery orange, dates all the way back to the 1800s and is decorated with lifesize paintings of Irish chieftain Hugh O'Neill and Spanish leader Don Juan D.

It was inspiration for Irish poet Desmond O'Grady's The Spaniard Inn, after his many visits to the pub.
